1. Home Students

   • Begin at the Registrar’s Office in Starbuck Center (Second Floor). Obtain a HMACU Cross Registration Form.

   • Signatures required are those of the student’s faculty advisor and that of the Skidmore Registrar.

   • Proceed to the Registrar of the host school to get signature and register for course(s). Return appropriate copies of Cross-Registration Form to Skidmore’s Registrar.

   • Grades for cross-registered courses are considered as regular credit.  Courses taken through cross-registration are considered to be equivalent in credit hours to courses taken at Skidmore.  The grade received at the host institution will be posted to the transcript as given.

2.  Visiting Students

   • Begin at the Registrar’s Office of home school.  Obtain a HMACU Cross Registration Form.

   • Students should present to Skidmore’s Registrar a completed Cross-Registration Form that includes the signatures of the home school advisor and Registrar. The signature of the Skidmore Registrar is then obtained.

   • Students may cross-register after registration for matriculated students has ended (late August for Fall term and December for Spring term).

   • Students may cross-register only on a space available basis as determined by the Skidmore Registrar’s Office.

   • Transcripts/grades are sent to the Registrar (or designated official) at the home school. No transcript fee is necessary.
