Albany Medical College

1. Home Students

   • Obtain a Hudson Mohawk Association cross-registration form and an Albany Medical College add/drop form from the Office of Student Records (R-109)or the Graduate Studies Office (MS-134).

   •  Complete the cross-registration form along with the add/drop form and obtain the necessary signatures from both your mentor and the Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies.

   • Submit the completed add/drop form to the Office of Student Records (R-109).

   • Take the completed cross-registration form with necessary signatures to the office responsible for cross-registration at the school where you wish to take a course.

   • Keep in mind that the grades for cross-registered courses will be recorded as submitted by the host school and marked cross-registered on your Albany Medical College transcript.

2.  Visiting Students

   • Obtain a Hudson Mohawk Association cross-registration form from your HOME school.

   • Complete the cross-registration form and obtain the necessary signatures from your home school advisor and Registrar.

   • Bring the completed cross-registration form to the course instructor and the Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies at the HOST school to obtain approval.

   • Complete the cross-registration process by registering with the Office of Student Records (R-109)  You will need to complete an Albany Medical College Student Information form (available in the Student Records Office) and submit your cross-registration paperwork.

   • Upon completion of the course, grades for cross-registered students are reported to the Student Records Office.  A transcript will be created and a copy sent to the Registrar’s office at the home school.

   • Please keep in mind that cross-registered students may not enroll in the following courses: medical school curriculum courses, clinical courses, and courses with a required laboratory.
