1. Home Students

   • Begin at the Registrar’s Office – Guenther enrollment Services Center Room 136.

   • The signatures required are those of the student’s Department Chairperson or advisor, then the registrar.

   • HVCC students are required to take all copies of the signed HMACU cross-registration form to the host institution.  When cross-registration is completed there, the student must return the white and pink copies to the HVCC Registrar.

   • Grades of cross-registered courses are treated in the same manner as though the courses were taken at HVCC.  Pass/Fail grades are accepted.  Courses taken at a college that is not on the semester calendar will have the credits converted to the semester equivalent.

2.  Visiting Students

   • Signature of the Home Campus Registrar is required prior to registration.

   • Students may register during the In-Person Registration period immediatelyy preceding the semester begin date and during the add/drop period.

   • Students are responsible for all related fees.

   • The Arts Center and Health Science Care Courses are closed to cross-registrants. The only exception is that students may cross-register for paramedic courses. However, students must apply and be accepted to the program through the admissions office.

   • Transcripts/grades are sent to the Registrar (or designated official) at the home school.  Grades may be given by telephone to an authorized individual at the home school if necessary.

3. General

• Class schedules and catalogs may be obtained from the Registrar’s Office.
